Lions run game should be able to really thrive this weekend. Commanders Run D is a definite weakness. Daniels is very good, but he doesn't have a huge arsenal of weapons outside of McLaurin. Ekeler is still good but not as scary as he was as a Charger. Lions 30, Washington 20.

Daniels may burn the Lions like Fields always has but I doubt the Redskin D can stop our offense.

Is this a good matchup for the Lions? Jayden Daniels is a very mobile QB which seems to be our Achilles heel.

It seems half the QBs are dual threat to some extent. Big mean LBs that can lay the wood on them may be the secret sauce in stopping them.

At this point I am very glad the Bears did not take Daniels. However, he has a slight frame and I am not sure he will hold up very long doing designed runs. Williams can run but has a thick frame so he may last longer.

Although Jayden Daniels is still a rookie he didn’t seem to have too much trouble with the Bucs D. What kind of wrinkles can we throw at him that will knock him off his game?

Did you watch the same game I did ?

Multiple times in the red zone Washington could not convert a TD.

The Bucs really lost the game there selves with self inflicted mistakes.

Fumble on a Hand of exchange.

The botched snap count pretty much sealed the fate.

With Washington winning on a FG that that ricocheted off the upright.

Like others have said Washington won't match our offensive production.

Dual-threat QBs aren't a Lions problem, they're an NFL defense problem. Lamar Jackson is about to win his third MVP. Josh Allen pushed him to the brink for that honor. Daniels is about to win OROY. Dual-threat QBs that can actually throw are a problem for everyone.

Is the press-man coverage the Lions prefer a problem when we have to deal with a dual threat QB?
