It’s not the worst-case scenario for the Lions, but it's not great news, either. Here's my expectations for how the team will handle the absence of four starters from the lineup this week.
It's always tit for tat. You would think that based on the Lions defensive injuries, the Pack is salivating and thinking they could score 40 points. Let them get overconfident a bit. This game is the Lion's to lose. There is always some psychological components to a game, before and during. What's remarkable is that the coaches always have the Lions dialed in mentally.
As I understand it, during the magical run of the Patriots dominant era,the one thing that was emphasized by Belichick was "just do your job". I would imagine they had their own fair share of injuries to deal with but the record speaks for itself. I'm thinking that 99.999% of the guys on the roster will give it everything they got to "just do your job". The rest will take care of itself. Coach Campbell brings out the best in his guys week in and week out.
I see Reader as the big blow here defensively, since Josh Jacobs has become such a huge part of the Green Bay offense. Doubs being out helps, because maybe we can commit more to stopping the run. But yikes... let's go offense!
It feels like the biggest blow for sure. I'm not confident in Martin being ready to even somewhat compensate, but I'm sure there's a plan in place. In the words of a wise man, Greenbay sucks!

Pat O’Conner lacks the bulk of a run stopper. Jacobs must be neutralized or it will make Jordan Love’s job easier!

For some reason, I had it in my head that Martin had played like 200-300 snaps last year. . . I bet Chris Smith gets the call up.
