Fueled by four takeaways and big special teams plays, the Lions matched the second-most points scored in a game in franchise history, plastering the lowly Titans, 52-14, at Ford Field on Sunday.
Everything is going to this type of communication...Even the "major" networks news channels are getting owned by Utube type content. Gotta say i do miss Justin throwing his note papers at his camera/phone though ;-P
No Hutch, No Jaymo, no problem. All things considered, Detroit should have won this game with a blowout and they did. Even undermanned at times, the Lions can beat you in many ways.
Great write-up, but I think lost in it is this: The Titans were by some metrics the best defense in football. By any metric, and excellent defense. The Lions dropped a 50-burger against and then trotted out the backups for most of the last quarter. This offense is ridiculous.
Kind of the story of the season. They were best in yards, Lions actually held way below season average on yards. Titans were bottom half in scoring. Lions scored a bunch because of short fields provided by the defense and special teams, and capitalized on those short fields with a 5 for 5 red zone showing. Only thing that really bucked trends was Gibbs' 70 yard score.
I watch a handful of games a week. Not all of them ....but 4-5ish. And with Hutch i honestly dont think they could have been stopped. They are playing at a level that is just flat out better than any1 else. And i'm starting to think, they may be unstoppable even without him. Even the TB game the Lions more than doubled the Bucs yards, It was a bunch of ticky tacky DB PI calls that beat them in the long run that game. If the refs stay out of the way..The Lions will ROAR! The Lions O.....is straight up scary good.
he's going to substack?
It seems like Kyle Meinke is leaving the Lions' beat!
Can anyone confirm?
If so - 🙁🙁🙁

Oh, not much Rodrigo either.

True....But its the ultimate team sport...and the Team had a ton of yards.
Could Khalid Raymond be All-Pro bound on special teams after that performance? WOW.

What a weird and wild game. Glad to see Hutch at the game too.
What a weirdly extremely dominant game.
