Are the stakes for next week lower than we think? Sure it’d be great to get the bye and #1 seed but being a #5 and playing either TB (without Godwin) or ATL (still getting Penix up to speed) wouldn’t be that bad, would it?

D surrenders over 400 yards passing. Wide open receivers all over the field. The Vikes are licking their chops. How do we rattle Darnold who almost hit 400 against the fabulous Pack? The O is gonna need another 40 point night. But it is notable how the D has been able to lock down better in the second half in many games.

Is Purdy as good as Darnold? Niners may be watching next week’s game to see if Darnold can carve up the Lions D as well as Purdy did and decide how much they should offer Purdy. I wonder if Purdy gives them a little discount. He’s good but I don’t think he’s $60M/yr good.

I can’t believe the Bates stretching moment didn’t make your highlights recap. I guess you didn’t get the closeup in live viewing 😅

No Martin on DL tonight must mean he continues to fall out of favor with the coaches.

Reader is the nose tackle. There's not a lot of value in a backup nose tackle. Pat O'Connor fills that role WHILE contributing on special teams. It's a pretty cut and dry situation.
