Those Daboll pressers seemed pretty confrontational.

One of the few things that you *don't* want to emulate from the GOAT (Belichick) is his press conference demeanor.

Daboll has to deal with the New York media which is highly confrontational itself. So it's probably difficult to deal with.

I'm not here every day, but this is the third set of joint practices I've spent around the NY media, and the reputation that they are difficult or tough is one of the greatest works of professional fiction ever shared.

I watched his two pressers to hear about his take on the Lions. He was the aggressor during the questioning. He seemed annoyed more then once when the press asked him the same question more than once.

Good to know! Do you think the amount of media members maybe has something to do with that perception?

Maybe. Or they have brash talk radio hosts and columnists where the average person can't separate the producers of opinion, who drop bombs from above, from the daily, on-the-ground reporting.

We're different, but we give what we get. The NY media responds more than it injects. The teams here use the media as their "chip" so they're creating the atmosphere they then complain about
