If you want to know the biggest difference between the upcoming matchup between the Lions and Packers and the team's Week 9 meeting, check the injury report.
I still believe that our defense can perform at a high-level, but expect offense and special teams to take some of the pressure off that side of the ball. And maybe the crowd can force a penalty or two as well…
They're averaging 30 points a game, give or take, and hung 38 on the 49ers and 30 on the Dolphins. Not terrible teams. If we can't stop their offense, which I think will be the case unless Love throws some INT's, then our offense will need at LEAST 30.
and just before that they scored 20 while eeking out a 1-point win on Chicago. And I'm sorry, while mounting injuries are obv a concern, we still have at least three defensive starters on their way to the Pro Bowl -- plus an emerging Smith, Campbell, and Arnold.
I don't know, not saying this is you at all but the "sky is falling" / GB should scare us (at home!) stuff feels so overblown.
Can GB beat us? Of course. Are the Lions still the better team? YES.
We're better, and the pearls clutching is getting old. Even with the injuries the Lions have the best offense in the NFL and still a very good defense with a lot of playmakers. FFS it's like we're 11-1 going on 1-11.
I was not as confident against the Bears last week, but the lines really showed their metal and took care of them. Even though players started falling like flies. They had just enough all fenced in enough fortitude to finish out with a win. Packers are not the Bears and they’re going to play us tough and I do not expect us to actually win this game.
Good news would be that the Vikings lose to the Cardinals.
all good! though....if we beat them, it's a 2team race to win division. If we lose, they have a false sense of security that they are as good as us...and we kill them in playoffs with Levi, Paschal, and Alex back.
Logically, this game seems almost sure to be a shootout. NFL being what it is, that probably means it'll actually be a Single Wing / Veer Option, 12-9 bare knuckles brawl.

The offense is very healthy and needs to put up 30 plus points which hopefully will be enough for the win.
Can’t wait for the podcast preview of this matchup 😁
We'll need at least 30, maybe 40 from the offense to stay in this one. I have faith.
Since when did the Packers become an unstoppable juggernaut, much less on the road?

Nobody wants you to be right more than I do, lol. For the record, I do think we will win Thursday. I'm just saying we'll likely need 30+ to do it.
Honestly, you may very well be right on that -- over/under is 51.5.

This is going to be a tough one....Pack will play us tough.
Biggest test of the year, coming up! Cannot wait. Hope Ben has the 35+ point game plan dialed up. Feels like we are going to need it.

It’s been a while since we had to win in a shootout. Offense should be healthy and have no excuses.
