The Lions dominated this game in every stat except the score and should have won if not for their red zone blunders.

The red zone offense was pathetic, BJ needs to stick with what got us here and run the ball behind the best OL in football.

For a lot of areas not working well and a few that did, Tampa barely scraped by with the win. Some of the throws to St. Brown and a few runs by Gibbs seemed forced and out of sync. Not enough throws to Laporta and maybe they get Patrick a few more chances.

The back end of the D is still a work in progress, so I am not worried about it and not I worried about the O as they are still moving the ball enough to get into scoring position. They lost a bit of balance between running and throwing.

Who'd a thunk it that the two best looking teams in the NFC are Minny and the Saints?

I really appreciate your write ups. I could not watch today's game. I grew up in Michigan, and then the United States Navy sent me all over the world for 21 years. And my final landing spot was Great lake, so now I live with my family in Wisconsin.

Today's game choices for me was either the Packer game or the Vikings game. Both teams make me sick. In any event, I look forward to your film breakdown and other insights you have through the week. Go Lions! We will win next week!

Well, there goes the undefeated season. Time to regroup, recalibrate, and try and get things on track for the next 15 games (and hopefully beyond). As tough a pill as this one was, I can’t necessarily say a wake-up call is a bad thing.

I watched Jared Harrington today... I have so seen this movie before...

Campbell being a leader and taking responsibility post-game. But in the real world, it’s excessive. Goff played badly. Looks sluggish, confused, and slow. Feet are jumpy and never set. Hasn’t looked good in either game. Some of the OL (Ragnow in particular) struggled today. The defense blew multiple coverages. Arnold looks lost. Dan screwed up the FG at the end of the half, but the players deserve plenty of blame today.

Yes, it was a bad game by everyone (Hutch and the DL excepted). But DC is right to take responsibility for his role in it.

Not an embarrassing loss, but a bad one, for all the obvious reasons. Poor game plan from Ben this week, I thought. Felt like he thought they could pass at will. Goff looked extremely shaky. D was good enough to win couple dopey mistakes killed them.

I kind of felt it was embarrassing. Not because TB is a bad team, but because of how the Lions blew so many things with unforced errors.

Season isn't over, but this Super Bowl storyline has run its course for now.

Can’t let Tampa hang around like that. We got two possessions at the end with favorable distance . Goff looks average with a confused look. WRs didn’t have separation. And Brown looks banged up.

Tough loss in a game there for the taking. And now off to a place where they usually struggle, and then home against a 2-0 team that has had their number. Yikes.

Justin, can I get your thoughts on Campbell's comments and demeanor directly following the game? He seemed almost emotional to start his post game remarks.

You don't need my thoughts, you're already on top of it. Was definitely some emotion there, feeling he cost his team.

After two games, there is some evidence that teams have figured out the Lions offense a little bit, both scheme and protections. Both the Rams and the Buccaneers got enough pressure on Goff to make him erratic at times. I thought for sure that when Vita Vea went out, the Lions would just run the ball up the gut... And they tried a little bit but it didn't work very well.

It looks like that. Can’t hang around till the game is nearing the end. It catches up. Red zone struggles suggest too much juggling of personnel and Goff looks shaky

And don't look now, but next week's opponent the Arizona Cardinals are leading the LA Rams 21-0 in Arizona.

Certainly didn't deserve to win. JG looked bad -- skipping several throws well before the receiver, too many 3rd/4th down passes 2 yards short of line to gain to receivers who were stopped or moving parallel to LTG, and all those short, middle of the field passes when time needed to be conserved. The ultimate dink and dunk offense. with no passes that were end zone catch or incomplete. Lack of 2 FGs due to running out of time and 2nd half int proved fatal.

Second quarter timeout well before the 1:00 minute mark was very questionable.

This is well said. I agree 100 percent. Screen pass was poorly run when the defender went behind the blocker to stop Gibbs. Tampa cornerbacks were too physical.

"...Williams collided with safety Christian Izien..."

That's a generous way to describe Izien running into Williams as Jamo started to make his cut.

The DB was looking into the backfield and Williams was the one who ran into him, BUT the DB reached out an arm as the WR ran by his peripheral, so it should have been a hold.

To me it feels like they’re forcing plays for certain players rather than taking what the defense is giving them.

Felt like they were overcorrecting to get STB balls.
