The Lions signed a third cornerback in 24 hours, bringing on Maddox. The former Martin Luther King High School standout has spent his entire seven-year career with the Philadelphia Eagles.
And what I see is a DL ery close to what they had at the start of last season, and Hutchinson was in a different universe. The can't lose him, but they needn't worry too much that the complementary pieces are already way more than adequate to support superman.
Nice. You think Holmes is gun shy after last year, he should be and this is the way you should respond.
Maddox could push for starting nickel, okay, that's a long shot, but he has a shot at getting some snaps as the Dime back. This is before we factor in xxxxxxxxxx (knock on wood). Being a willing and good Special Teamer helps his cause a lot. I'm liking this signing the more I type.
CB room looking good and combined with the Lion Safeties the secondary went from mess to top 10 (top 5?) in a year. Not to be a nag, but would still like to see some kind of veteran Safety.
Looks to be another good depth addition. Seems to be a possible upgrade over KV. He's had better seasons than 2024. He's another shorter, scrappier kind of CB.
Secondary set. Now please focus on Edge help!!
I just keep thinking about that elephant in the room, a pass rusher that will be a difference maker...
His first name is Aiden. You can fill in the rest.
Yes Sir, but meant in addition to Hutch. He can't do it alone.

I’m comfortable with the CB room now. On to the pass rush~!
