Thanks for the coverage of Fountain. I made a comment last week.
“I’ll be patient until pads come on but you’ll have to keep us up to date on Daurice Fountain. Looks like we may have a “dark horse” candidate. I mention pads cause I want know can he block better than Josh Reynolds?”
Does his size translate to blocking? With Gibbs and St. Brown, WR blocking translates to explosive plays. He’s so much stronger than Josh was in that X receiver role.
It's pretty much the role I figured DP-J would carve out for himself. It's almost always a mistake to read anything into noncoverage, but if I were to take that path, I'd suspect DP-J is somehow missing his opportunity to regain relevance in the NFL.
That'd be a shame since there aren't many Wolverines on the team and I always want my fellow alums to have success with my hometown teams.
Feel like, not only was Campbell giving Fountain praise, but also sending a message to a couple guys in the WR room to pick it up.

My first instinct is I haven't seen enough of a sample size to comment, but he has the size and the want-to, which is a strong place to start.

Glad you are spotlighting guys like this! I bet he’ll be this years camp darling.
He could be ‘Megatron’ on hail Mary’s, on O & D.
