Allen Park – The storyline possibilities the first day of training camp are endless, but there was one player I wanted to talk to above all others as the Detroit Lions exited the field Wednesday morning: Cornerback Emmanuel Moseley.
Versatility. Think of all the injuries the last few years at the position and it makes sense that everyone gets work at different spots. It also allows Glenn to not be stuck in any preset defenses if the other team calls for it. We've seen a few 3 safety sets, imagine some Dime sets with Davis, Arnold, Mosely, Amik, Branch and Joseph. The personnel allows for so many options that Glenn never had before. Think of the last placed pass defense compared to those 6 on the field in certain situations.
I was shocked listening to a podcast to hear he was all over the field today. I figured he wasn’t recovered from the first tear until October, so that would be his timeline for the second. Great to know rehab has gone better this time around, and we can expect E-Man to compete this summer.
Was just talking about this as a possible change last night on the show. I think it makes a ton of sense. Amik won’t go away quietly though. Camp should be a fun watch this year.

Honestly, I forgot about him. Would be great add.
Could you imagine him back at 100%? Seems like CB1-5 could all be better than last years CB1. Nice problem to have.

Eazy!
It's nice to have so much versatility in the backfield. The Lions like to cross train so I will be curious as to where he continues to line up.
