Detroit Lions film review: Is concern about defense merited after letdown outing vs. Seattle?
Through the first three games, the Detroit Lions defense looked vastly improved from years past, allowing fewer than 20 points and 300 yards per game in those contests.
But with a couple of new injuries needing to be addressed, there was a backslide against the Seattle Seahawks Monday night. The Lions still managed to emerge victorious — thanks to an unlocked offense that put up 42 points — but the defense felt fortunate to surrender just 27 after allowing Seattle to rack up more than 500 yards of offense and score three consecutive touchdowns to open the second half.
Just how concerning was the performance? We turn to the film to find out.
