I can't see them using a spy anyways this week because the spy would need to be small and quick, but Arizona uses a lot of 13 personnel and I don't think players like James Houston would be a good fit this week.

..."using the short pass to mimic the run game like they had done against the Buccaneers last season"... and the Bucks were ready for it especially when the field shortened inside the 20 yard line. They don't need a QB spy. They just need a few more trips to the end zone. Arnold will likely be fine unless he turns out to be another Jeff O who is still struggling to make it happen.

Okudah lost huge chunks of time with injuries his first years. That may be irrelevant but I suspect his time to learn both the speed of the NFL and the way it's reffed put him too far behind to ever get up to speed.

I'm hoping Arnold will have better juju.

Bite your tongue in the Okudah stuff, lol. We don't need any of that bad juju

Thanks for the comprehensive yet concise summary Justin! Interesting to hear Johnson’s take on last week’s game plan.

I think the FG percentages are extra gaudy because we are in a stretch of good weather. Once fall/winter comes, we'll see some bad footing, etc and those numbers will naturally drop.

I found Johnson's comments interesting. It's ok to gameplan for an opponent the same way three times in a row. However, the opponent will change up their gameplan, especially when they have lost the first two meetings. I find it mildly concerning that the offensive staff didn't have a counterattack. One man's opinion, anyway.

I think they did have a counterattack, but it required the run game be better. That’s what I took away from it, at least.

AG got a little prickly when asked about the QB spy, didn't he?

Lots of good AG stuff today! Love his confidence in the players and the scheme. Hope Murray is under duress like Baker was. That's always key bur especially this week.
