It would surprise me a little if Hooker is not the 2 at season's start with - hopefully - Nate on PS. Nate #2 on the 53 is certainly a possibility, but the Lions have such a deep roster that it would mean cutting a player they really like in order to make that happen.
This is the first year in a long time where we really need a solid backup. I hope Hendon can fill that role but if not so be it.
